Start with a score
Add the PDF of a piece you want to learn by heart. You will mark its lines and bars once (the tool finds most of them for you), set a few landmarks, and then practise and test from those.
- Mark. Find the lines and bars, and name landmarks: the start of each section, a key change, a place where the hands change role.
- Fade. Hide the score in stages until only the landmarks are left, then nothing.
- Test. Start from a landmark the tool picks, play on from memory, then check yourself against the score.
Why it works this way: see the research behind it.
Play from the score as it fades. Tap a hidden bar to peek at it; every peek is counted, so you can see which bars still lean on the page.

Bars
Each square is a bar, shaded by how well its section is holding. A dot marks a bar where you lost your place in the last month.
